This esteemed organisation, founded in 1989, supports independent, family-owned funeral directors, emphasising the importance of maintaining high standards in the face of increasing number of negative reports for the industry.
The inspection placed Harold P Heywood and in particular Director Michael Lindup under the spotlight, involving a thorough review of the premises to ensure compliance with governing laws and regulations. The focus was on whether or not we were maintaining the highest standards of service and care, respect for the deceased, as well as transparent communication with clients.
Harold P Heywood not only passed the inspection with flying colours, but also received commendations from the lead inspector for the exceptional cleanliness of our facilities, describing them as among the best encountered during his tenure with SAIF. Additional praise was given for the funeral directors’ outstanding service and transparency towards the families they look after.
