It has now been officially announced that the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II will be held on Monday September 19th at 11:00am.
Michael and Harold P Heywood have committed to conducting a funeral for a family on this day and at that time. Whilst we respect the State funeral, we have decided with the family to honour this commitment.
It has been a very difficult decision for both ourselves and the family but we must continue to support and respect our families too. If you see our cortege in Failsworth on Monday, please do not see this as a sign of disrespect but a sign of commitment and respect to our family.
Our deepest condolences are with all families who have lost a loved one and who are being affected by Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral service.
